Our Team

Monteacute House Ltd provides the core management team for all hotels. We also retain specialists for operations, development and cost appraisals (quantity surveyors), human resources and staff training.

Minhaz Manji – Managing Director

Minhaz Manji is the Director of Monteacute House Ltd which owns and operates hotels in the UK under licence from InterContinental Hotels Group. He is also the Chairman of the UK Forum for Franchise Owners’ of Express by Holiday Inn hotels and represents their interests as an Advisory Board Member at the International Association of Holiday Inn Owners (IAHI) for Europe, Middle-East and Africa . In 2004 he was appointed Chairman of the HCE (Hospitality Consortium Europa) by His Highness the Aga Khan. Minhaz is Trustee and Founder of the Embassy of Man, UK Charity 1095202. He also serves as a non-executive board member of Cyprotex plc and serves as a board member of Spectrum (an aggregate buyer for hotels, dental businesses and nursing homes).

Mo Suleman – Director of Finance and Business Development

Mo has been with the group since 2008 and joined from
PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was the group’s audit manager. He specialised in the finance of owner managed businesses especially within the retail and hospitality industry. Within the group, Mo heads up the finance department and is responsible for expanding the business and identifying opportunities to grow the group. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mo worked for a number of smaller firms of accountants, including Moore Stephens and MacIntyre Hudson.

David Parrett – Area General Manager

A hotel management professional with over 20 years experience working for International hotel companies such as Hilton and Intercontinental Hotels Group. A hotel school graduate from Durban, South Africa where David worked in hotels on Durban beachfront before moving to the UK in 1990. He started his career with Stakis Hotels working his way up to General Manager before joining Hilton. David has 8 years of experience with the Holiday Inn/Express Brands having successfully run various Holiday Inn’s prior to moving as Area General Manager with First Inn Ventures.
